Handprint Sunflowers

Kindergarten

Sunflowers are made from hand prints with tissue paper centers.

This art was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's sunflower paintings.

Kindergarten students designed the background in Van Gogh's distinct style with oil pastel, and the vases with Sharpie marker and crayon.

Model Magic sculptures, inspired by glass artist Dale Chihuly.

Painted with watercolors, silver and gold acrylic paint added to finish.

The Art is Coming, The Art is Coming!

Art portfolios will be going home in the next couple of weeks. They are pretty big, and I am encouraging students not to fold them up and stuff them into backpacks! These are masterpieces, and your children are going to be so proud to show them off at home!
