Here a few of the glazed clay projects before they went home last week. We used a new glaze this year (Speedball), and the colors were reliable and consistant. The projects were beautiful!

Kindergarten Heart Paintings
These February hearts are beautiful! They were made by the Kindergarten artists, and all were the feature of The Eventide Gallery here in Essex last month. The students learned about symmetry to make the hearts, practiced making a pattern for the border, and painted with "tints". They were all unique! Here are a few examples...
Clay Update!
Clay projects are glazed and are being loaded into the kiln. We are using a new, more reliable glaze this year, so we are all very excited to see how these come out!
