Welcome 2013-2014 EES Artists!

Welcome back to the EES art blog! We have started our year with an AMAZING printmaking unit, a collaborative art piece, some Goofy Pumpkins, Tea Stained Maps, and Monochromatic Canvas paintings. Watch out for more photos to come!

Kindergarten Color Wheels

Working with oil pastels in primary colors, kindergarten students mixed colors together to make secondary colors to complete a color wheel. We also practiced reinforcing  tracing, cutting, and gluing skills, and practiced  shape identifications.

Fall Clay Projects


These are the clay projects shown in the drying stage. After they are dried, the clay goes into the kiln, bakes, and its ready to be glazed. (The next post will include the glazed pieces)
